Marcin Bystry

Founder of Service Excellence. Born host and passionate enthusiast of hotel and catering sector. Graduate of the Academy of Hotel Management and Catering Industry in Poznan, Poland. He established Service Excellence in order to use his gained knowledge and experience on the Polish market. In hotel and catering industry Marcin combines his fascination with professional skills, Guest orientation, impeccable service, kindness and penchant for high quality products in one. Yet, surprisingly, such an approach still constitutes rarely met combination in Poland. Marcin gained his 12 years of experience in hotel and catering industry in the international arena in European countries such as Switzerland, France, Scotland, Austria and Poland. He worked in flagship hotel chains, luxurious private hotels or prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants (1* and 2** Michelin). He managed both hotel and catering facilities in Poland and he worked as a chef in renown restaurants. Marcin acquired his international experience in top-notch hotels in Switzerland such as Tschuggen Grand Hotel (5* Superior), Park Hotel Vitznau (5* Superior), Grand Resort Bad Ragaz (5* Superior) or Chasa Montanta Hotel (4* Superior), where he worked on exemplary quality and management systems and the most significant standards in the sector, i.e., – Leading Hotels of the World, Swiss Deluxe Hotels, Quality our Passion, Relais & Chateaux and according to ISO standard 9001. During all those years Marcin attempted to gain as wide as possible knowledge from all hotel outlets in order to use it on the Polish domestic market.
